1. Leaked tax returns had to come from someone with access to President Trump’s tax returns. This limits the number of people that could be responsible.
2. President Trump is not saying he is looking for the “leaker” in his midst, he is not saying he has a trader working for him.
3. Good return, favorable return leaked. If it were a true leak they would have picked the worst return to leak.
4. This is President Trump’s way of dealing with the press asking for his tax returns. He will now use this leaked return to say people have already seen his taxes.
5. No reason for anyone else to leak this return, it was cherry picked.
6. The publicity tactics President Trump used to play the NY entertainment media market should not be used to play the American people. Someone in the President Trump’s camp should tell him this.
President Trump should focus his energy on cutting regulation, government spending and taxes.
